Natural Landscapes

A journey home

Natural Landscapes
1995 - today

This series began with a camera and a childhood passion. At twelve years old, I received my first camera from my dad. From that moment, my love for photography and nature intertwined, driving me to chase the perfect shot… no matter the cost. Clinging to a tiny branch, one foot on a cliff, the other hanging over emptiness, just to capture the curve of a waterfall. Freezing my hands of in the winter cold, waiting for the right light on the Matterhorn. Soaking wet, patiently enduring the elements for that one moment when the light, the land and the lens align.

But “Natural Landscapes” is more than the pursuit of perfection. It is a journey of stillness, a quiet meditation. It is about being present in nature breathing in the cold air, feeling the damp earth with my hands, and waiting… not just for the shot, but for the clarity that comes with it. The hours, days, or weeks spent in silence, watching the sky change: these are the moments that ground me.

These images are not about drama or grandeur. They are bout the quiet dialogue between the land and the soul. The forests, the mountains, the rivers do not perform. They simply are. And in their presence: so am I.

No rush.
No noise.
No artificiality.

Just the raw, unfiltered beauty of the natural world and the calm it brings. Look at the images and feel the stillness.
