The story behind the image

Skogafoss is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Iceland. Mostly with a person in a brightly coloured jacked in the foreground to emphasise scale. I chose not to add people to focus on the natural part of the waterfall… the adventurous, barren and long lost feel of Iceland. Something that Iceland is slowly losing due to the many touristic upgrades.
